Let's Talk Rings

Engagement Ring
I've mentioned previously how I wanted to wear just a wedding band once we got married, without an engagement ring. Because of that I wanted to keep whatever ring we got pretty simple, so we decided on a white gold solitaire ring with a .3 ct diamond. We really liked this diamond as it had an inclusion, but it was in a spot where it's barely noticeable and still looks really good (good cut and color), but was several hundred dollars cheaper than an equivalent diamond with smaller inclusions. The staff at Shane Co is the best and made sure we found exactly what we wanted and made sure the ring was sized properly (it took me a few attempts to find the perfect size).

Less than a month before the wedding we made our way back to Shane Co to get our wedding bands and move my diamond from the ring to a pendant. Since we were trading it in, we were able to put the value of the white gold solitaire towards the pendant and wedding bands, which was really nice. I ended up with a simple pendant, which I love!

Wedding Bands
For my wedding band I knew I wanted something classic and low profile. I wasn't a huge fan of the stone sticking out on my engagement ring, so it's been really nice just having a band. I really like the style and detail on ring, while still being small and practical. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better ring.

Kaleb went with a 7mm white gold comfort fit band with a brushed finish. It looks really good on him and is really nice.
