The Wedding Website
When it came time to create our wedding website, we literally went with the first thing we found on Google: The Knot. It's easy to use, gets the job done, and just works.




The Registry
For our wedding registry, we just went with Amazon. We figured we'd keep it simple with only one store and since all of our family + some friends were coming from out of state, having it all online and delivered just made it easy for everyone.

The hard part though was figuring out what to put on the registry. We both already lived on our own, so we had a lot of stuff already. So we tried to go for high quality things we hadn't bought yet. Like knifes. Lots of really nice kitchen knifes. We also asked for some better quality things to upgrade what we already had. We also put a fake tree on there and I love it dearly. Though a week before the wedding we practically ran out of items, so we added more tools and a lot of Disney movies to the list. Oh, and a door mat. We're so put together now.

Getting Ready || The Wedding

The morning of the wedding I woke up feeling a little out of it and on the edge of a headache. Thankfully that didn't last too long and I felt good the rest of the day! The night before I had put my hair into sponge curlers, as the texture would make it easier to do my hair. My last selfie as an engaged person! I got up, showered, and got ready. I did my hair myself and the only makeup I wore was red lipstick. In typical Sereina fashion, I had allowed much more time than I actually needed that morning! Ha! Before the Ceremony || The Wedding

After all of the group photos with the bridal party and family were taken, there was a bit of time left to just hang out. Some guests stared arriving, we mingled a bit, friends were finishing setting up everything. It was really great seeing everything coming together and everyone just having a fun time before everything officially started. Writing checks. We had boutonniere issues, but Carrie came to the rescue. The cake setup! The Pleticha's made us these custom bride and groom glasses as a gift which we ended up using for toasts. This is what all the table centerpieces looked like. I had planned to hand letter a welcome sign and put it in this huge frame, but didn't have the time so I just let it go. No biggie, but it was still on the (very detailed) list of things to set up, so when they couldn't find it, Katie ran to the store to get this canvas and paints and Miranda whipped this up. Let's Talk Rings

Engagement Ring I've mentioned previously how I wanted to wear just a wedding band once we got married, without an engagement ring. Because of that I wanted to keep whatever ring we got pretty simple, so we decided on a white gold solitaire ring with a .3 ct diamond. We really liked this diamond as it had an inclusion, but it was in a spot where it's barely noticeable and still looks really good (good cut and color), but was several hundred dollars cheaper than an equivalent diamond with smaller inclusions. The staff at Shane Co is the best and made sure we found exactly what we wanted and made sure the ring was sized properly (it took me a few attempts to find the perfect size). Less than a month before the wedding we made our way back to Shane Co to get our wedding bands and move my diamond from the ring to a pendant. Since we were trading it in, we were able to put the value of the white gold solitaire towards the pendant and wedding bands, which was really nice. I
