Decorating the Car & Photos with Relatives || The Wedding

While Kaleb and I were inside partying away, the groomsmen and a few other friends took to decorating Kaleb's car for our exit. They went all out and decorated it everywhere! It was really cool since we took the car on our honeymoon since we went to the San Juan Islands, we got a lot of well wishes from strangers and it was just a good conversation starter overall. I didn't think I was going to like having it decorated all week, but we really enjoyed it!




Saying hi to grandparents and getting some photos with some of Kaleb's relatives afterwards.

The morning of the wedding I woke up feeling a little out of it and on the edge of a headache. Thankfully that didn't last too long and I felt good the rest of the day! The night before I had put my hair into sponge curlers, as the texture would make it easier to do my hair. My last selfie as an engaged person! I got up, showered, and got ready. I did my hair myself and the only makeup I wore was red lipstick. In typical Sereina fashion, I had allowed much more time than I actually needed that morning! Ha! Before the Ceremony || The Wedding

After all of the group photos with the bridal party and family were taken, there was a bit of time left to just hang out. Some guests stared arriving, we mingled a bit, friends were finishing setting up everything. It was really great seeing everything coming together and everyone just having a fun time before everything officially started. Writing checks. We had boutonniere issues, but Carrie came to the rescue. The cake setup! The Pleticha's made us these custom bride and groom glasses as a gift which we ended up using for toasts. This is what all the table centerpieces looked like. I had planned to hand letter a welcome sign and put it in this huge frame, but didn't have the time so I just let it go. No biggie, but it was still on the (very detailed) list of things to set up, so when they couldn't find it, Katie ran to the store to get this canvas and paints and Miranda whipped this up. The Month Before

Finding Shoes Finding the right pair of shoes was quite the challenge. Ideally I wanted something red, but it's hard to find red flats in general, let alone in a size 5.5W. Finding plain flats in that size is nearly impossible. But one day I had the realization that I should've been looking in the kids section as there are more colorful options and the equivalent sizes are usually a bit wider. I ordered 5 different pairs of flats from the kids section on Amazon and ended up keeping two pairs. The original plan was to wear the red ones for the wedding and the silver ones to my bridal shower. I did that, but also brought the silver ones the day of the wedding and I'm really glad I did, as after not too long the red ones became really uncomfortable on my heel so I switched out after pictures to the silver ones.
